How to send us your pathology results:

At times, referring physicians prefer to have their patients obtain their own Pathology slides for submission to Star Health Network's Specialty Consultations. In this situation, all you need to do is contact the Pathology Department where you had the studies performed and have your slides sent to us. On occasion, our pathologists request additional slides or a block of tissue. If additional slides are requested, the interpretation will take more time. There are additional charges for special staining.

The studies should be sent to: confirmedptpath@starhealthnetwork.com

Important Information about Pathology Materials:
  • Please have your physician direct you as to which studies (diagnostics) to send
  • Include previous pathology and/or radiology reports.
  • Please keep in mind that there is a fee for studies.

Cost of expert opinions:

The prices for our various consultation services are as follows:

  • Specialist Opinion: $1000-1500
  • Radiology Review: $300
  • Pathology Review: $300
Pricing for radiology and pathology is based on how many different parts of the body are being interpreted. For example, X-Rays of a chest and leg would constitute two (2) interpretations.
Some pathology specimens may require special staining in order to interpret them properly. Additional costs will be incurred when special staining is required. You will be notified in advance as patients are responsible for the entire cost of their consultation.
